Fellow female friends, we are enjoying the journey towards making 2016 Our Shining Years with Leonie Dawson’s workbooks for non-profit organisations.

Our first meet up went really well and together we familiarized ourselves with the Life workbooks, saying goodbye to all that has been (2015). We enjoyed a lovely creative activity and begun goal setting for the coming months.

During our meet ups (£4.00 creative materials & beverages included) we will be reviewing the goals we laid out for ourselves in previous sessions and taking those all important mini steps towards huge and great things. When time allows we look at doing a creative task.

In preparation for the next meeting, I hope that you have the chance to complete the Very Important 2015 Closing Ceremony, and start looking towards filling out the next chapters. Our creative activity for May will include creating our Dream/Vision Boards. So start collecting those images, words and expressions that invigorate and inspire you.

What things have you been doing to help create your Shining Year? At the last felting group I chose my word for the year and turned it into a piece of felt art. I’ve been carrying it around in my planner. I also made myself a mini dream board in my diary, that way I keep looking at it.

The creative aim for the next session is to create dream boards, so please do collect magazine snippets, notes that you’ve written down and any photographs you would like to do. There are many different dream boards and I recommend having a good internet search and if you find any that are inspiring then feel free to add them to the group Pinterest board.

We are looking at having regular meet ups together at Unravel & Unwind CIC so that we can all work and mentor each other in a creative way to achieve our goals (personal, business or both) for 2016/2017.
