Being creative really is good for you…
This weekend we were joined by Bobbie who is taking part in the 100 Job Challenge. Bobbie has an unusual migraine disorder that meant that for a long time she was unable to work. When she felt ready to rejoin the employment world, like many she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do that would work well with her illness. So she set about the challenge of trying 100 different jobs while raising awareness of MVBD (Migraine variant balance disorder) and funds for 2 charities, The Mediatation Trust and K.O.R.E Therapy. Both organisations have been at the forefront of Bobbie’s road to recovery.
Our November Learn as we go… Felting group was Job #26 for Bobbie and to say she had a great day with us would be an underestimation. Just read what she had to say about working at Unravel & Unwind CIC here and you will understand what I mean by saying Creativity really is good for you. Don’t just take my word for it, read Bobbie’s words.
If Bobbie has inspired you to come along and take part then do please feel free to “drop in” or try out any of our workshops. If Felting is something you would like to try, then our next session is on 13th December, but please do ensure you book up first as it does fill up fairly quickly.

Have a lovely and creative week ~ Faye
