Tunisian Tuesday CAL
#TunisianTuesdayCAL
Week 4
This week we are working on block 1. It is mainly TSS (Tunisian Simple Stitch) but includes chain loops.
It is especially important that you read the notes below as there is a mistake in the pattern. Helen and I are posting our finished blocks in the comments on Rainbow Valley Crochet, along with some helpful information.
Please post your block on Facebook when you have made it. If you would like to join in with the #TunisianTuesdayCAL there is more information at http://www.enfys.me.uk/english/tutorial/tunisian-cal.htm
Don’t forget to read the rest of the post as there are hints/tips, photographs, group feedback and more.
Notes
For this block, the picture of the finished block does not match the instructions. Helen and I both followed the instructions exactly. If you do, your block will look like ours on the right. If you would like your block to look like the grey one on the left, you need to omit Row 5 and only repeat rows 2 to 4 until your block is long enough.
Helen says – I did 20 rows for this one and ended up with 5 loops. You need to slip stitch the end of your chain to the top horizontal bar after the vertical one you have just used.
Faye says – I also did a total of 20 rows. I enjoyed this one. I like the effect the chain gave.
